Take an AP course in 2015-16!
Have you considered taking an AP course in 2015-16? We hope you will accept this challenge and prepare yourself for college classes while in high school. Everyone who takes an AP course in 2015-16 must complete an enrollment form that has important information about the AP program at Hylton.  Click here to download or pick one up from your counselor.  If you are considering taking 4 or more AP courses next year, bring the completed form to Mrs. Holt's office on B Street, and arrange a time to talk with Mrs. Holt, our AP Coordinator, about your choice of AP courses
Join us for our CISL Conference in March!!
Did you ever hear of "Svalbard"?  Discover life in Mongolia, Martinique and Bermuda! How can we resolve conflicts in our world, such as in the Kurdish regions of Iraq, Turkey, Iran, and Syria? Try dancing in the Bhangra form or create your own decorated egg in the Pysanky method! You are invited to explore these and other topics  in sessions at Hylton High School's annual Center for International Studies and Languages (CISL) conference on Saturday, March 7. Our keynote speaker is Dr. Denise Natali, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for National Strategic Studies. Contact Meg Holt, CISL Coordinator, at holtmh@pwcs.edu or call 703.580.4000. Click here for the registration form and schedule.

Office 365 / Microsoft Office for Students
In addition to C.D. Hylton Google Apps accounts, PWCS is providing students with Microsoft Office 365 accounts. With this account comes licenses for the student to install MS Office 2013 software on up to 5 devices of his/her choice. This video will walk students through the process of signing in for the first time and downloading the software.  Students must sign in to their accounts for the first time from a school computer.  Students interested in registering for an account can see Mrs. Treichler in E165B or receive assistance in the library.
